Trademarks and Licensing Vendor Fair
4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Office of Trademarks and Licensing hosts a vendor fair in the Larrick Student Center, Court End Ballroom. Attendees will learn more about the licensing policy at VCU and meet the vendors that can be used to get VCU-branded products for departmental use, giveaways and student groups. There will be a raffle with a chance to win over 10 items. Free pizza and beverages will be provided, while supplies last.

'Cultural Literacy Night'
7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Alpha Zeta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc. presents "Cultural Literacy Night" in the University Student Commons, Forum Room. Attendees are encouraged to bring books to donate to the Children's Museum of Richmond. Food will be provided.

Students Helping Honduras: Thrift Shop
Tuesday, Mar. 28, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Students Helping Honduras holds a thrift shop on the Commons Plaza. A variety of gently used clothing and other items will be available for sale. All proceeds will go to building a school in Honduras.
Green Infrastructure Plan Meeting
Tuesday, Mar. 28, 2017 at 7 p.m.
VCU's Center for Environmental Studies invites the VCU community to learn about and make suggestions for a downtown green infrastructure plan in development by the center and Armstrong High School at the VCU Division of Community Engagement. The plan area includes Carver, Jackson Ward, Monroe Ward and VCU's Monroe Park and MCV campuses.
Health Disparities Organization: CPR and Blood Pressure Screenings
Wednesday, Mar. 29, 2017 at 6:30 p.m.
Health Disparities Organization invites the VCU community to attend free CPR practice and blood pressure screenings with trained professionals at Second Baptist Church, 3300 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, 23224. Dummies and blood pressure cuffs will be provided for practice.
RamBikes Bike Checks

RamBikes technicians perform free bike maintenance checks on the Compass near Shafer Street.

GSA Spring Luncheon and Volunteer Fair

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) hosts a Spring Luncheon and Volunteer Fair in the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons. Participants will have the opportunity to meet representatives of organizations around Richmond who need volunteers.
Off Campus Student Services: 'Roommate Mixer'

Off Campus Student Services hosts a "Roommate Mixer" in the University Student Commons, Common Ground. Attendees will meet fellow students looking for roommates for next year.

Sikh Student Association Vaisakhi Langar
Friday, Mar. 31, 2017 from noon to 4 p.m.
The Sikh Student Association invites the VCU community to its Vaisakhi Langar event, where we will celebrate the Sikh holiday of Vaisakhi and practice the Sikh tradition of Langar, or community kitchen, on the Commons Plaza. Participants will enjoy free traditional Punjabi food and try on a turban while learning more about the Sikh faith and interacting with the Sikh community at VCU.
TDoR Tree Dedication
Friday, Mar. 31, 2017 at 2 p.m.
VCU Police, in partnership with the Richmond Police Department and TDoR RVA, will dedicate a cherry tree in honor of the Transgender Day of Remembrance. The tree, to be planted at VCUPD headquarters, 224 East Broad St., will serve as a public space for the community to remember transgender individuals who lost their lives due to violence. RSVP is required at the link below. The ceremony will be held in the rear parking area, near the intersection of 3rd and Marshall streets.

World Health Day

The Health Science Club hosts an event in the University Student Commons, Commonwealth Ballroom, featuring guest speakers, food and education in recognition of the 2017 World Health Organization's "World Health Day" campaign, "Depression: Let's Talk." The event will help spread awareness and support for those who live with depression.
United2Heal: Super Warehouse
Friday, Apr. 7, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
United2Heal holds a super warehouse at 2601 Maury St., Warehouse #31, to organize medical supplies to be sent to different countries in need. Free food will be provided to volunteers.
Black Excellence Scholarship Ball
Saturday, Apr. 22, 2017 at 7 p.m.
The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs hosts its inaugural Black Excellence Scholarship Ball at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, 403 N. 3rd St. The VCU community is invited to join in "Celebrating a Heritage Rooted in Excellence." Monument 10K Transit Impacts: March 30 to April 1
Due to upcoming road closures for the Monument 10K, there will be no Campus Connector service west of Belvidere from Thursday, March 30, to Saturday, April 1. On March 30-31, the Connector will only service stops at Main and Laurel Street and Snead Hall from 6:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Normal Connector service will resume the evening of Saturday, April 1, pending road closures. RamSafe will be unable to service some locations, including Cabell on March 30-31. RamSafe service will discontinue at 3 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, and resume at 5 p.m.

RamRide/RamSafe Guest Passes
RamRide and RamSafe guest passes are available for download online for all VCU faculty, staff and students. All guests of RamRide/RamSafe passengers must present a guest pass to the driver upon boarding. Guest passes can be downloaded for free at go.vcu.edu/ramsafe
