The Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) Club at VCU hosts its first tournament, "Ram Point," at the Cary Street Gym, Indoor Soccer Field. Competitors will be fighting with historically accurate long-swords in timed matches for medals and bragging rights. Anyone interested in seeing historically-accurate sword fighting is invited to attend.

VCU Police, in partnership with the Richmond Police Department and TDoR RVA, will dedicate a cherry tree in honor of the Transgender Day of Remembrance. The tree, to be planted at VCUPD headquarters, 224 East Broad St., will serve as a public space for the community to remember transgender individuals who lost their lives due to violence.
