'Supporting Survivors: The Importance of Language'

The Wellness Resource Center hosts "Supporting Survivors: The Importance of Language" in the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons I-II. Attendees will learn effective advocacy skills to help empower survivors, receive an overview of solution-focused, trauma-informed care and learn the principles of Forensic Experiential Trauma Interviewing (FETI).
Spring 2017: Biostatistics Seminar Series

Amendment Film Festival
Saturday, Apr. 29, 2017 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Amendment Literary and Art Journal presents the second annual film festival at The Depot. The festival will feature seven short films which reflect Amendment's mission statement of "social progression through artistic expression" and range from abstract video, to narrative film, to documentary. The event is free and open to the public. Free food and drinks will be provided.
Students Today Alumni Tomorrow: Renewal Party
Sunday, Apr. 30, 2017 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Students Today Alumni Tomorrow (S.T.A.T.) hosts its annual Renewal Party on the Commons Plaza. Attendees will enjoy games, music, fun and membership. Members can renew their yearly membership for $20 and new members can join and benefit from all that Students Today Alumni Tomorrow has to offer.

'Paws for Stress'
Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
University Counseling Services and The Center for Human-Animal Interaction present "Paws for Stress" in the University Student Commons, Virginia Rooms A-D. Participants can play with certified therapy dogs from the Center for Human-Animal Interaction as a way to unwind from semester stress.
