Three Case Studies for the Ethical Conduct of Clinical Research
Friday, May 12, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research sponsors the Central Virginia Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) meeting in the McGlothlin Medical Education Center, Rooms 11-101/11-102. Three case studies involving hypothetical research ethics questions will be presented for small group discussions. Following small group discussions, the combined groups will present their case study resolutions.

The HR Redesign's Career Development Committee invites all VCU faculty and staff to a free one-day "First Look at Career Development" event in the University Student Commons. Attendees will learn about the university's new career development program, its goals and the many development opportunities available to all A&P and classified employees. The event includes an overview of the new compensation plan, job families, market-based salary ranges, job summaries, career communities and mentoring.

Brown Bag Seminar: 'Five Buckets Principle of Work/Life Balance'

Deadline Approaching: Open Enrollment for Faculty and Staff Health Coverage and Flexible Spending Ends Monday, May 15
Eligible university faculty and classified staff may make open enrollment elections for state health coverage and flexible spending until Monday, May 15. Election forms must be received by Human Resources no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, May 15. VCU cannot grant extensions to this state deadline. This year’s open enrollment uses paper election forms only; online elections are not available. For instructions and information, visit www.hr.vcu.edu/open-enrollment
