Larrick Center Connector Stop Relocates June 1

Due to upcoming construction for the new School of Allied Health, on June 1, the Larrick Center stop will close temporarily. A new stop will be placed at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, located on Jackson Street between 7th and 8th streets. Campus Connector and I Lot passengers who normally utilize the Larrick Center stop should proceed to the new J. Sargeant Reynolds stop beginning June 1. The Larrick stop is expected to return to its original location following construction.

RamRide Not in Service on Memorial Day

There will be no RamRide service on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29. Service will resume on Tuesday, May 30. A Lot, I Lot, M Lot, and R Lot employees will be permitted to park on the D Deck, 515 N. 13 St., on May 29.

Va-LEND Accepting Applications for the 2017-2018 Training Cohort

The Virginia Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities program (Va-LEND) accepts trainee applications for fall 2017 through Thursday, June 1. The Va-LEND program is committed to the preparation of professionals, family members and people with disabilities in the field of childhood neurodevelopmental disabilities who will assume leadership roles within health care and disability service systems.

Institutional Review Board Satisfaction Survey

The VCU Office of Research Subjects Protection invites members of the VCU and VCU Health research community who are familiar with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to take a short, anonymous satisfaction survey. The survey will be available through Wednesday, May 31. The responses will help to identify areas for improvement in the services provided by the IRB. To begin the survey, visit the website below.

Children Swim Lessons @ VCU Rec Sports

This summer, VCU Rec Sports offers swim lessons for children. Preschool lessons will be offered for children ages three to five and youth lessons will be offered for children older than five. Preschool lessons will cost $30 for members and $70 for non-members. Youth lessons will cost $35 for members and $80 for non-members. The first sessions for these lessons will begin on Monday, June 5, and continue until Thursday, June 15. Registration ends on Friday, June 2.
