I Lot Shuttle No Longer Servicing Sanger Hall

In efforts to reduce traffic congestion at Sanger Hall and create a safer passenger experience, the I Lot shuttle will no longer service the Sanger Hall stop, effective Monday, July 3. Beginning July 3, I Lot passengers who normally utilize the Sanger Hall stop should proceed to McGuire Hall. The McGuire Hall stop is located at the intersection of Clay and N. 11 streets.

Cashiers Office at Harris Hall: Closing Early for Fiscal Year End Processing

The Cashiers Office at Grace Harris Hall closes at noon on Friday, June 30, for fiscal year-end processing. Please have all work for Fiscal Year 2017 to the Cashiers Office no later than 11:45 a.m. to ensure time constraints are met. The last pick up for the VMI Building drop box will be 9 a.m. on Friday, June 30. After this time, items will need to be hand delivered to the Grace Harris Hall Cashiers Office by 11:45 a.m.

July 3 Payday and Calendar Reminder

As a reminder, the next scheduled payday is Monday, July 3, in coordination with the state's payday calendar. Please note, VCU is open and running on a normal schedule on Monday, July 3.

VCU ASPiRE offers opportunities for faculty and staff to use community service leave this summer with partners like FeedMore and Habitat for Humanity. VCU ASPiRE will do all of the heavy lifting, including transportation, coordinating logistics with the community partner and facilitating a debrief session following the service experience. OCPE Personal and Professional Development Programs

The VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education (OCPE) presents a variety of face-to-face and online opportunities for personal and professional development for VCU faculty, staff, students and alumni. Noncredit certificate programs include: Corporate Event Planning, Certified Wedding and Event Planning, Signature Wedding and Event Design, and Paralegal Studies. Weekend workshops in play therapy, and an evening workshop series taught by Certified Professional Organizers, are also offered.

Call for Heritage Month Committee Members

The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs seeks individuals who are interested in serving on a Heritage Month Committee. Committee members help plan events, share ideas and collaborate with OMSA and other organizations for each heritage month. OMSA sponsors Latinx Heritage Month, LGBTQ+ History Month, American Indian Heritage Month, Black History Month, Women's History Month, and Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Collaboration Services announces two changes in Google. Google Talk has been replaced with Google Hangouts and Google Hangouts Meet is now available. Google’s Hangouts Meet is a new video meeting experience with one goal: make joining meetings effortless so that people can be as productive as they are when meeting face-to-face.
