The Electric Croude Bande
7:30 p.m.
The Department of Music presents The Electric Croude Bande in the Sonia Vlahcevic Concert Hall at the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, as part of the 2017 Guitar and Other Strings Series, 25th season. The Electric Croude Bande, which includes some of the finest acoustic musicians in Central Virginia, will present a program titled "Through the Seasons," featuring songs and tunes, mainly originals, that compliment the different moods and times of the year. General admission is $15.

Friday, Jul. 14, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research and VCU Massey Cancer Center present "Common Audit Findings and Ways to Avoid Them" in the McGlothlin Medical Education Building, Rooms 11-101 and 11-102. Participants will understand the purpose and goals of clinical trials auditing; learn about common clinical trial audit findings; and learn tips and techniques to avoid common compliance issues.
Celtic Masters

The Department of Music presents the Celtic Masters in the Sonia Vlahcevic Concert Hall at the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, as part of the 2017 Guitar and Other Strings Series, 25th Season. Three award-winning Celtic masters present a program originating from the deep well of ancient folk traditions. Maggie Sansone, Sharon Knowles and Jody Marshall combine the energy and spirit of traditional music with the harmonies and depth of classical interpretation. Admission is $15.

I Lot Shuttle No Longer Servicing Sanger Hall
In efforts to reduce traffic congestion at Sanger Hall and create a safer passenger experience, the I Lot shuttle will no longer service the Sanger Hall stop, effective Monday, July 3. Beginning July 3, I Lot passengers who normally utilize the Sanger Hall stop should proceed to McGuire Hall. The McGuire Hall stop is located at the intersection of Clay and N. 11 streets.

Great Place: HR Redesign FAQ: What is the effective date of the new HR policy?
The effective date of the new HR plan is January 1, 2018 for classified employees hired to jobs posted July 1, 2016 or later. January 1, 2018 is also the start of the enrollment period for all other classified staff. Classified employees who elect to switch to the new HR plan during the enrollment period will have an effective date of July 1, 2018. VCU ASPiRE offers opportunities for faculty and staff to use community service leave this summer with partners like FeedMore and Habitat for Humanity. VCU ASPiRE will do all of the heavy lifting, including transportation, coordinating logistics with the community partner and facilitating a debrief session following the service experience. Enhanced Security for VCU Login
VCU is continuing its effort to protect our community from cyber threats that may jeopardize the safety and security of our information. In the continued effort to enhance the security of accounts, the VCU 2Factor Authentication will be extended to major services such as Blackboard, email and VCU Portal over the summer. This upcoming change will provide faculty and staff members with additional protection for their VCU accounts.
