'Insights: Institutional Information and Data Analytics Platform Training'
Monday, Jul. 17, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Enterprise Analytics and Advanced Research hosts "Insights" training on both campuses. The sessions will be held on Monday, July 17, from 2-3:30 p.m. in the T. Edward Temple Building, Room 1145; and on Thursday, July 20, from 2-2:30 p.m. in Sanger Hall, Room B1-020. The target audience for this training are academic and administrative unit leadership personnel including those who support them.

Beth O'Boyle Basketball Day Camp
Monday, Jul. 17, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Women's Basketball head coach, Beth O'Boyle, hosts a week-long basketball camp at VCU this summer for any and all girls and boys, grades 1-8. Campers will learn basic basketball skills and fundamentals by current VCU players and coaches. In addition to enhancing basketball IQ, campers will also have the opportunity to play games, participate in contests and win prizes. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join in on the fun. A VCU employee discount is available.

Quatro na Bossa

The Department of Music presents Quatro na Bossa in the Sonia Vlahcevic Concert Hall at the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, part of the 2017 Guitar and Other Strings Series, 25th Season. Kevin Harding and Laura Ann Singh formed Quatro na Bossa, Brazilian bossa nova and samba, in 2003. Quatro na Bossa's innovative arrangements and unique style result in music that is fresh and engaging while remaining authentically Brazilian. General admission is $15.

VCU ASPiRE offers opportunities for faculty and staff to use community service leave this summer with partners like FeedMore and Habitat for Humanity. VCU ASPiRE will do all of the heavy lifting, including transportation, coordinating logistics with the community partner and facilitating a debrief session following the service experience. OCPE Personal and Professional Development Programs
The VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education (OCPE) presents a variety of face-to-face and online opportunities for personal and professional development for VCU faculty, staff, students and alumni. Noncredit certificate programs include: Corporate Event Planning, Certified Wedding and Event Planning, Signature Wedding and Event Design, and Paralegal Studies. Weekend workshops in play therapy, and an evening workshop series taught by Certified Professional Organizers, are also offered.

Human Resources and CommonHealth Present 'Think About It'
Human Resources and CommonHealth hold "Think About It" for participants to learn how easy it is to keep their brain healthy and involves living intentionally and caring for your brain and body, every day. Become a Friendship Family for a Humphrey Fellow
The Global Education Office seeks volunteers interested in becoming a friendship family for a Humphrey Fellow. Humphrey Fellows are mid-career professionals working in a health-related field within their home countries. GEO matches VCU students and scholars with Richmond families for cultural exchange and friendship. The program stimulates curiosity, increases cultural understanding and provides insight into a world beyond individual perspectives.
