Survivor Solidarity Hour is a weekly, year-round program, held every Tuesday, where survivors of violence and allies can come together, meet and hang out in a safe space. This is not a therapeutic group but rather a causal, supportive space. Students can engage in activities from coloring, to playing games, to engaging in conversation. Larrick Center Connector Stop Relocates June 1

Due to upcoming construction for the new School of Allied Health, on June 1, the Larrick Center stop will close temporarily. A new stop will be placed at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, located on Jackson Street between 7th and 8th streets. Campus Connector and I Lot passengers who normally utilize the Larrick Center stop should proceed to the new J. Sargeant Reynolds stop beginning June 1. The Larrick stop is expected to return to its original location following construction.

'Nutrition for Cancer Survivors'

VCU Massey Cancer Center hosts a series of four workshops about nutrition for cancer survivors each Wednesday in June from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at 9000 Stony Point Parkway, First Floor Conference Room. To confirm registration, call the number below and leave a message with a name and phone number.

Adult Swim Lessons @ VCU Rec Sports

VCU Rec Sports offers summer sessions of adult swim lessons with varying skill levels for participants. Sessions are offered in three levels: beginner, intermediate/advanced, and "all level." Cost: $40 for students, $50 for members, and $90 for non-members. Register online by Friday, June 2, for session one and by Friday, July 7, for session two in order to reserve a spot.

The Presidential Student Ambassadors present the PSA applications for the 2017-2018 school year. Learn about the unique opportunities for undergraduate students to gain leadership, development, and service under the VCU Office of the President.

OCPE Personal and Professional Development Programs

The VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education (OCPE) presents a variety of face-to-face and online opportunities for personal and professional development for VCU faculty, staff, students and alumni. Noncredit certificate programs include: Corporate Event Planning, Certified Wedding and Event Planning, Signature Wedding and Event Design, and Paralegal Studies. Weekend workshops in play therapy, and an evening workshop series taught by Certified Professional Organizers, are also offered.
