The Office of Environmental Health and Safety hosts Handling Dangerous Goods training for VCU and VCU Health employees who handle (as in receipt for, mark, label, pack and prepare/sign shipping documents) dangerous goods in the George Ben Johnston Auditorium. Registration is NOT required. Handling dangerous goods without training or with training that is lapsed is illegal or may subject the handler and the university to fines.

Women's Basketball head coach, Beth O'Boyle, hosts a week-long basketball camp at VCU this summer for any and all girls and boys, rising grades 1-8. Campers will learn basic basketball skills and fundamentals by current VCU players and coaches. In addition to enhancing basketball IQ, campers will also have the opportunity to play games, participate in contests and win prizes. A VCU employee discount is available.

This summer, VCUDine restaurant locations are operating under modified hours until Friday, Aug. 11. Locations such as Einstein's Bros. Bagels, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Freshii and Market 810 will be open and welcome cash, credit, swipes, Dining Dollars and RamBucks. Committee members help plan events, share ideas and collaborate with OMSA and other organizations for each heritage month.
