'Hit Reset!! Dialogue on Climate Change'
12 p.m.
The Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering invites the VCU community to an open dialogue on climate change at The Depot to learn what individuals can do to make a difference. The talk will feature Vickie Connors, Ph.D., and Clifford Fox, Ph.D., both from the Center for Environmental Studies, as well as Emmy-winning filmmaker David Schumacher ("The New Fire").
'Global Social Justice: Activism for World Peace'
3 p.m.
Sociologists for Women in Society presents "Global Social Justice: Activism for World Peace" in the University Student Commons, Virginia Room A. Members of the women-led peace group, CODEPINK, will be lecturing on university divestment campaigns, followed by a brief question-and-answer session.
'Share Your Love'
5:30 p.m.
Christ Centered Fellowship presents "Share Your Love" on the Compass. Participants can create a goodie bag of treats and Valentine's chocolates for a friend and share the love.
Black Professional Career Panel
6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
VCU Career Services hosts the Black Professional Career Panel in the University Student Commons, OMSA Office, Room 215. The purpose of this panel is to provide a space for professionals and VCU alumni to speak with students and share insight about their experiences.
VCU Jazz Orchestra I in Concert
8 p.m.
VCU Music presents the VCU Jazz Orchestra I in concert in the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, Sonia Vlahcevic Concert Hall. The concert will feature Rex Richardson (trumpet), vocalists Paige Melton and Shy Hinnant, and music of Porter, Nestico, Kern, Riddle, Gillespie, Holman and Richardson. Tickets are $7 in advance; $10 at the door; or free with VCU student ID.

VCU Music presents The Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet in the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, Sonia Vlahcevic Concert Hall. The Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet astonishes audiences worldwide with their range of expression, tonal spectrum and conceptual unity. Many listeners and critics agree that the ensemble has succeeded in virtually redefining the sound of the classic wind quintet. Martin Luther King III Keynote Address

The 2018 MLK Celebration Week keynote address with Martin Luther King III - human rights advocate, community activist, political leader and the oldest son of King - has been rescheduled to Sunday, Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. in the University Student Commons, Commonwealth Ballroom. The event, which will moderated by Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney, is free and open to the public. Guests can RSVP by visiting the website below. VCU Recreational Sports: Log Rolling Clinics
Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
VCU Recreational Sports offers new Key Log Rolling Clinics during the spring semester. The next February clinic will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 8-9 p.m. at the Cary Street Gym Aquatic Center. Trained aquatic instructors will teach the basics of running on key logs to members of various skill levels. Based on experience level, there will be opportunities to increase the intensity, decrease the stability, and increase the fun with competitions.

Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences hosts a webcast of the UNC Minority Health Conference's William T. Small Jr. Keynote in Tompkins-McCaw Library, Room 2-010. The theme for the conference is "Reclaiming the Narrative." The webcast will stream the recorded keynote address by Monica Raye Simpson followed by a live question-and-answer session with the keynote speaker.

The Wellness Resource Center is conducting the National College Health Assessment online survey beginning Thursday, Feb. 15. Selected students will receive an email to their VCU accounts with a personal access code.
