VCUarts Department of Craft + Material Studies students present the annual "Tiny Shiny: Jewelry Exhibition + Sale" hosted by Quirk Gallery, 207 W. Broad St. The exhibition + sale encompasses exceptional handmade jewelry from faculty, graduate and undergraduate students from the Craft + Material Studies Department of VCUarts. The VCU community is invited to stop by Friday, March 16, or Saturday, March 17, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
First-Gen Fridays
12 p.m.
Strategic Enrollment Management presents "First-Gen Fridays" in the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons III, for students, faculty and staff who will be or were the first in their family to graduate from college. "First-Gen Fridays" is for first-generation college students to meet each other and faculty from around the university. The brief topics this month are "Do the Math" and education abroad. Pizza will be provided.

United2Heal Super Warehouse
3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
United2Heal hosts a "Super Warehouse" event at 2601 Maury St, Unit #31, Richmond, VA 23224-3667. Rides will be provided at the University Student Commons Loop at 3 p.m. The group will be working on organizing shipments. Food will be provided.
Honors College Continuing Student Information Session

VCU Honors College invites current VCU students to attend an information session in the Honors College, Room 1303, 701 W. Grace St., to learn about the benefits of joining the Honors College and how to apply. Attendance at an information session is required in order to apply.

Richmond Rhythm 2018
7 p.m.
The Ramifications of VCU, an a cappella group on campus, host "Richmond Rhythm" in the W. E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts. There will be 10 collegiate a cappella groups from around Virginia competing. Tickets are $10 for any student and $15 for general admission at the door.

March Madness Viewing Party

The Graduate and Professional Student Programming Board presents an all-day March Madness viewing party in the Hunton Student Center. Lunch will be provided from noon - 1 p.m. and snacks will be provided other times.

Giant Jenga Tournament
8 p.m.
Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship presents the giant Jenga tournament in West Grace Street Student Housing-South, Room 1004A. The tournament is $5 to enter and all proceeds will go to the nonprofit, Feed One. Teams of three or four will compete. Food will be provided.

Copyright for Creators: Navigating the Permissions Process

Test Taking Tips and Study Strategies
Monday, Mar. 26, 2018 from noon to 1 p.m.
VCU Massey Cancer Center and the Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research, in partnership with the Division for Academic Success, will offer a special interactive support session in the McGlothlin Medical Education Center, Rooms 12-101 & 12-102. This class is open to all VCU and VCUH employees. Amy Miller, director of the Division for Academic Success, will offer participants the opportunity to understand who they are as a learner. Participants will learn study strategies to prepare for exams (such as the upcoming SOCRA Exam), time management tips and test taking strategies for exams.

Phishing is a digital scam that attempts to trick its victims into performing an action or disclose information they would not normally perform or disclose. VCU Recreational Sports Fitness Women on Weights
VCU Recreational Sports offers Sessions 3 and 4 of Women on Weights at Cary Street Gym. This small group training course teaches the foundational methods of resistance training and program design to help you build confidence in a gym atmosphere. Your trainer utilizes strength machines, resistance bands, cable stacks and free weights to build your skill and knowledge of proper technique and progressions, each week using new equipment and exercise. Registration ends March 23.

VCU Recreational Sports Functional Fitness Training
The Functional Fitness Training course is offered by VCU Recreational Sports Fitness at the Cary Street Gym. Certified Personal Trainers utilize the Synrgy360 to design unique and challenging circuits to teach you how to control your workout intensity to gain cardiovascular fitness and improve your body composition. If you have received a midterm alert grade indicating unsatisfactory academic progress, see your instructor or academic adviser. The last day to withdraw from classes is March 23.

Green Week Recycled Art Show Artist Sign-Up
West Grace North Community Council is seeking artists interested in submitting work for a Recycled Art Show. All submissions must include materials that would otherwise have been disposed of in a landfill or recycling center.
