United2Heal: February Warehouse
3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
United2Heal holds a "super warehouse" at 2601 Maury St., Unit #31. Participants will package donated medical supplies and organize the warehouse. Free food will be provided. Those needing rides can meet at the Commons loop at 3 p.m.

VCUDine: Acai Smoothies

Every Friday until March 2, VCUDine is offering freshly mixed acai smoothies from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Market 810 at Shafer Court Dining Center. Rennolds Series Concert: The Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet

VCU Music presents The Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet in the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, Sonia Vlahcevic Concert Hall. The Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet astonishes audiences worldwide with their range of expression, tonal spectrum and conceptual unity. Many listeners and critics agree that the ensemble has succeeded in virtually redefining the sound of the classic wind quintet. Tickets are $35 general admission; $32 seniors (60+), VCU employees and alumni; and $25 children.

Rampoint 2018
Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The HEMA Club at VCU holds its second annual national Historical European Martial Arts tournament in the Larrick Student Center, MCV Campus Recreation Center. Saturday will be a national Nordic league long sword tournament; winners will be eligible to compete in swordfish, the "Olympics of HEMA." Sunday will be the rookie tournament for new fighters from all over the East coast. Attendees will see historically accurate sword-fighting and listen to lectures on relevant historical topics. There will be no fee for spectators.
Ready! - Sophomore Transition Series
Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
University Academic Advising presents "Ready!" in the Academic Learning Commons, with check-in in the first floor lobby. The first of three events in the Sophomore Transition Series, "Ready!" will feature workshops with financial aid, career services and housing (on and off-campus). Students may attend the morning session from 9:30 a.m. to noon, or the afternoon session from 12:30-3 p.m. Registration is required.

Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (April) Committee.
The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs is accepting committee members to serve on the Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (April) Committee. The purpose of the committee is to involve both faculty, staff and students in the planning process for the programs to ensure that OMSA as an office are being inclusive and representing those who identify with the population. Events include discussions, movie screenings, guest speakers and educational forums. All identities are welcomed.
'A Health Care Family Feud': Applications Accepted
Emerging Healthcare Leaders presents "A Health Care Family Feud" on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 7-9 p.m. Applications are being accepted for this competition and participants can win $200 to donate to any organization. "A Health Care Family Feud" is a typical family feud game, but with questions related to health care, such as "common places you can get the flu." All are welcome to apply by visiting the website below. The deadline to apply is Monday, Feb. 19.

Teach Youth at VCU
The Mary and Frances Youth Center's Discovery program is accepting class proposals for summer 2018 through Monday, Feb. 19. Discovery offers week-long career exploration classes focused on STEM, arts and health sciences for middle school youth from July 30 to Aug. 17. Faculty, staff and students are invited to apply and become instructors. Discovery also has internship opportunities available.

VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program: Utah Spring Break Trip
The VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program offers spring break trip to Utah. Participants will explore canyons, hike in the desert, camp under the stars and look for ancient rock art. The adventure starts and ends in Las Vegas, Nevada; you get yourself there and VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program will take care of the rest. Price will be $495 for students and $595 for faculty/staff/members and includes food, transportation, permits, entry fees, and equipment, but DOES NOT cover airfare to or from the start.
