VCU Recreational Sports OAP: Big Bend National Park Trip

The VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program hosts a seven-day canoe trip from Jan. 3-13 (plus travel days) down the Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River in southern Texas. Participants will float through and hike inside canyons, find hot springs and stargaze. Registration is open and closed on Friday, Dec. 1. OpenCon at VCU: Talk Idea Submissions Deadline is Dec. 8

VCU invites students, faculty, librarians, scientists, writers and researchers to the Virginia satellite session of the international conference OpenCon on Friday, Jan. 12, from 9:30 a.m to 4 p.m. at Cabell Library. OpenCon Virginia seeks submissions for lightening talks on any conference topic: open access publishing, open data, open science, open education or open anything.
