Student Accessibility and Educational Opportunity Open House
Wednesday, Sep. 6, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Office of Student Accessibility and Educational Opportunity (SAEO), formerly Disability Support Services (DSS), holds an open house event at its office in the University Student Commons, Suite 102. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend to meet the staff, pick up some SAEO swag, learn about the new testing procedures and ask questions.

MCV Alumni House: Open House
Wednesday, Sep. 6, 2017 from noon to 1 p.m.
Campus Scheduling Services hosts an open house at the MCV Alumni House and Paul A. Gross Conference Center, Room 114, for attendees to check out the five event spaces and learn about the upgraded, brand new A/V technology. The house has two large meeting rooms, a parlor room and two smaller board rooms for conference-style meetings. Attendees will learn more about the opportunities departments and student organizations have to host their next event. No RSVP or reservation is required to attend.

Catholic Graduate Student Organization: Meet and Greet

National Recovery Month Substance Abuse Education Event

In recognition of National Recovery Month, the VCU Health Division of Addiction Medicine sponsors the second annual Substance Abuse Education and Recovery Resources Fair for clinicians, VCU staff, families, patients and visitors in the VCU Medical Center, Main Hospital, Learning Center.
Third Thursday Theology: 'Back-to-School Bash'

Third Thursday Theology welcomes faculty, staff and students back to campus with a "Back-to-School Bash" in Sanger Hall, Room 1-067. Attendees will enjoy food, fun and fellowship as they lift each other in study, service and support of one another. Attendees will learn what all the talk is about, win prizes, grab a snack, and learn about God in an inspirational, interactive, inter-denominational atmosphere.

Outdoor Adventure Program: Beach Stand-Up Paddle Boarding Day Trip
The VCU Outdoor Adventure Program offers a beach stand-up paddle boarding day trip on Saturday, Sept. 9. The cost is $22 for students and $25 for members. Participants should pack a lunch as food is not included in the cost. Register online or in-person at the Outing Rental Center from Thursday, Aug. 24, until Tuesday, Sept. 5.
College Colors Day 2017
The Office of Trademarks and Licensing encourages students, faculty and staff to celebrate College Colors Day on Friday, Sept. 1, by wearing VCU gear. The VCU PapaRAMzzi will be around campus giving away free tees and prizes to individuals wearing VCU gear. VCU Outdoor Adventure Program: Sea Kayaking Weekend
The VCU Outdoor Adventure Program offers a weekend of sea kayaking from Sept. 9-10. The student price will be $44 and member price will be $50.
