VCU to Conduct Test of Emergency Communications

VCU will conduct a full test of its emergency communication system, including 10 sirens throughout the Monroe Park and MCV campuses, today, Sept. 6, at 11:45 a.m. The full test will include the sirens along with text messages, Alertus boxes, mass email, digital signs, social media and VCU website information - all part of a multichannel system for communicating emergency information to VCU students, faculty, staff, visitors and the community.

'Our Mug, Your Design, #VCUInstaFamous'

VCUDine holds its annual Custom Coffee Mug Contest through Thursday, Oct. 5. The contest winner will have his or her design produced on hundreds of coffee mugs and sold all over campus, just in time for the holidays. The winner will also receive a $250 gift card to Barnes & Noble @ VCU and 50 free coffee refills at on-campus coffee locations.
