RamBikes partners with the Office of Sustainability to hold the annual Great Bike Roundup on the Commons Plaza. Participants will enjoy free bike inspections, informational tables, bike registration and giveaways at this outreach-oriented gathering of Richmond's bike community.
NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Information Session

The National Scholarship Office holds an information session in the Honors College, Multipurpose Room, for those interested in applying to graduate school in a STEM-related field to learn more about the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship application process.

Voicemail Transition: Action Required
On Tuesday, Oct, 3, at 9 p.m., VCU Telecommunications will migrate Avaya Voicemail users to a new voicemail platform provided by AVST. Faculty and staff should watch for emails from voicemail@vcu.edu with directions for setting up their new mailbox. Setup takes three minutes and is only four steps. Old mailboxes will be removed on Friday, Oct. 20. RamRide: Labor Day Impacts
The Campus Connector will operate on a reduced schedule of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4 (Labor Day). The A Lot, I Lot, R Lot and M Lot RamRide shuttles will not provide service on Monday, Sept. 4. A Lot, I Lot, R Lot, and M Lot subscribers may park in D Deck on Monday, Sept. 4.

New Noncredit Online Courses and Certificates
The Office of Continuing and Professional Education offers a variety of noncredit online courses and certificates in partnership with The Learning Resources Network (LERN), in areas such as customer service, Google tools and 21st century skills. 'Write on Site' Fall Schedule
"Write on Site," an initiative from the Office of Faculty Affairs, provides a designated space and time every week for faculty members to research and write in a supportive, distraction-free environment. The Office of Trademarks and Licensing encourages students, faculty and staff to celebrate College Colors Day on Friday, Sept. 1, by wearing VCU gear. Become a Friendship Family for an International Student
The Friendship Family and Cultural Exchange Program for international students, sponsored by the Global Education Office, seeks volunteers interested in becoming a friendship family for a VCU international student or scholar. The program matches VCU students and scholars with local Richmond families for cultural exchange and friendship. The FFACE program stimulates curiosity, increases cultural understanding and provides insight into a world beyond individual perspectives.
