'Coffee With a Cop'

VCU Police and Richmond Police Department officers host "Coffee With a Cop" at Greenbriar Cafe & Coffeehouse, 1211 W. Main St. This is an opportunity for members of the VCU community with questions, comments or concerns about safety, on or off campus, to ask questions or present ideas for collaboration on safety initiatives or community outreach projects. Coffee and, yes, donuts will be provided.

Catholic Graduate Student Organization Luncheon

The VCU Catholic Graduate Student Organization presents luncheon speaker Michael Bradley, MD, for "Catholic Medical Ethics Made Easy...as if such a thing were possible!" in the James W. and Frances G. McGlothlin Medical Education Center, Room 6-101. This event will provide an introduction to some basic principles and concepts to help guide the Christian medical professional in a challenging medical landscape. Bradley, an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, is a member of St. Benedict Church, serves as an RCIA catechist, KOC Council and the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre.
'Key Women in Islam'

"Lincoln and the Jews" topic of 33rd annual Brown-Lyons Lecture

Braun professor of American Jewish history and chair of the Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership Program at Brandeis University, lecturing on his book, "Lincoln and the Jews: A History" in the James Branch Cabell Library Lecture Hall, Room 303. The book details a new aspect of Lincoln's remarkable leadership, his relationship with American Jews that impacted both his path to the presidency and his policy decisions as president. VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program Basic Bicycle Maintenance Clinics
VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program will offer Basic Bike Maintenance Clinics on April 10 and April 23 at the Outing Rental Center's bike shop, 130 S. Linden St., to demonstrate how to clean, lube and adjust your bike to keep it in good condition, helping you avoid costly repairs down the road. Bringing a bike is not required.
