VCU Rec Sports offers private and semi-private swim lessons year round. These lessons come in different packages from two, four or six hours, and can be used in increments of 15 minute time blocks. Registration is available online through the MyRecSports portal or in-person at the Cary Street Gym.

The START-Play Research Study on Infants with Motor Delays at VCU’s Physical Therapy Department

The START-Play Research Program is comparing a new physical therapy to usual community care. START-Play targets motor skills and thinking. We assign your baby to START-Play or usual care group. Researchers will visit 5 times over 1 year and record your baby’s skills, toy play and parent-infant play. Eligibility: baby must be 7-16 months (adjusted for prematurity), have motor delays and can sit propped for 3+ seconds, but can’t get in/out of sitting.
