Nov. 11 RamRide/RamSafe Impacts

On Saturday, Nov. 11, there will be numerous street closures within the downtown area for the Richmond Marathon. Due to limited accessibility, RamSafe will stop taking calls at 3 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, and will reopen at 5 p.m. that day. RamRide will not be in service until 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, and will run until 12 a.m. The VCU community is encouraged to incorporate additional time in their commute to account for delays, and utilize the "RamRide" tracker when possible, via the website below.

The VCU Center for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Care has extended the submission date for the sixth annual Emswiller Interprofessional Symposium, "Collaborating to Close Gaps," until the close of business on Friday, Nov. 10. Abstract submissions are invited for oral presentations, workshops and posters that showcase interprofessional education, practice or scholarship (rampages.us/ipe-symposium/abstracts). Research Opportunity

Are you a woman in menopause experiencing anxiety? Would you like to talk about your experiences? Researchers at the VCU School of Nursing are interested in learning more about women’s health in menopause. Participation in this qualitative study would involve a face to face interview (approximately 1 hour) to discuss your personal experience with anxiety in menopause. The interview will be audio recorded and will take place at a location convenient to you. You will receive a gift card to a local business for participation in the study.
