Dogs On Call Calendar Sales
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Center for Human-Animal Interaction holds 2018 Dogs on Call calendar sales on the MCV Campus in the Learning Center, first floor of Main Hospital. Attendees can meet the Dogs on Call therapy dogs and show their support by purchasing a 2018 Dogs on Call calendar for $10. All proceeds support the Dogs on Call and The Center for Human-Animal Interaction and will help therapy dogs continue to spread joy to patients, students and staff.

Psychiatry Department Grand Rounds

The Department of Psychiatry presents Grand Rounds with Lee Cohen, M.D., Harvard, Massachusetts General Hospital, speaking on the topic of "Mood Disorders During Pregnancy and the Postpartum Period: Lessons Learned over Two Decades" in Sanger Hall, Room 1-044. 'World AIDS Day 2017: HIV/AIDS in Local, National and Global Perspectives'

Political Science sponsors "World AIDS Day 2017: HIV/AIDS in Local, National and Global Perspectives" in Hibbs Hall, Room 403. Judy Twigg, Political Science; along with Faye Belgrave, Department of Psychology; Christopher Brooks, School of World Studies; Deacon Lindsay Bryant, BTAN Richmond; Linda Hancock, VCU Student Health; and moderator Ravi Perry, Political Science; will participate in a panel discussion on the HIV/AIDS epidemic from a multidisciplinary perspective. Due to upcoming road closures for the Dominion Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 2, the Campus Connector will be unable to service the 3rd and Marshall Street and J. Sargeant Reynolds stops until 3 p.m. Additionally, RamSafe will end service at 3 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2.

Translational Research Fellows Application: Deadline Dec. 11
The Office of Public Policy Outreach (OPPO) in the Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs invites faculty whose research has relevance for public policy to apply for the Translation Research Fellows program by Monday, Dec. 11. Selected fellows work with OPPO staff to develop a public policy outreach plan for specific policy relevant research including three meetings with state policymakers.
