Dogs On Call Calendar Sales
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Center for Human-Animal Interaction holds 2018 Dogs on Call calendar sales on the MCV Campus in the Learning Center, first floor of Main Hospital. Attendees can meet the Dogs on Call therapy dogs and show their support by purchasing a 2018 Dogs on Call calendar for $10. All proceeds support the Dogs on Call and The Center for Human-Animal Interaction and will help therapy dogs continue to spread joy to patients, students and staff.

Psychiatry Department Grand Rounds

The Department of Psychiatry presents Grand Rounds with Lee Cohen, M.D., Harvard, Massachusetts General Hospital, speaking on the topic of "Mood Disorders During Pregnancy and the Postpartum Period: Lessons Learned over Two Decades" in Sanger Hall, Room 1-044. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend this presentation.
'World AIDS Day 2017: HIV/AIDS in Local, National and Global Perspectives'

Political Science sponsors "World AIDS Day 2017: HIV/AIDS in Local, National and Global Perspectives" in Hibbs Hall, Room 403. Judy Twigg, Political Science; along with Faye Belgrave, Department of Psychology; Christopher Brooks, School of World Studies; Deacon Lindsay Bryant, BTAN Richmond; Linda Hancock, VCU Student Health; and moderator Ravi Perry, Political Science; will participate in a panel discussion on the HIV/AIDS epidemic from a multidisciplinary perspective. Admission is free and all are welcome.

The Graduate and Professional Student Programming Board holds a "mix and mingle" event at Mijas Cantina, 1218 W. Cary St. Attendees can meet students from various disciplines in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Dinner will be provided and is first-come, first-served.
Catholic Campus Ministry Winter Ball
7 p.m.
Catholic Campus Ministry at VCU holds a winter ball at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Parish Hall. This is a free event with a photo booth, music, dancing and food. Dress attire is semi-formal.

The Activities Programming Board presents bingo in the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons. Attendees will play a fun, spirited version of bingo and enjoy giveaways, a hot chocolate bar and a chance to pick prizes.
Christmas Semi-Formal
Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Chi Alpha at VCU hosts its annual Christmas semi-formal at Commonwealth Chapel, 1836 Park Ave. The VCU community is invited to wear a favorite dress or best tie and celebrate the holidays and end-of-semester with games, activities, a photo booth and light snacks.
Trans Social Club
Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Trans Social Club provides free snacks, socialization and Christmas music in the University Student Commons, OMSA Office. TSC provides trans individuals a place to socialize, network, and relax every Sunday. They define trans individuals as those who do not fully identify with the gender they were assigned at birth including those who are questioning their gender.
VCU Guitar Ensemble and VCU Community Guitar Ensemble

VCU Music presents an afternoon of classical guitar with the VCU Guitar Ensemble and the VCU Community Guitar Ensemble in the James W. Black Music Center, Recital Hall. Admission is free.

VCU Global Zone Training

The Global Education Office hosts VCU Global Zone training in Grace Street Center, Room 3127, for faculty and advisers to learn and discuss best practices for working with international students. Topics will include personal cultural awareness, culturally responsive teaching, academic integrity and international students. Upcoming Transit Impacts Due to Christmas Parade
Due to upcoming road closures for the Dominion Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 2, the Campus Connector will be unable to service the 3rd and Marshall Street and J. Sargeant Reynolds stops until 3 p.m. Additionally, RamSafe will end service at 3 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2.
