Wenzel, M.D., professor emeritus and former chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine, VCU School of Medicine, hosting a book signing for his newly released novel, "Dreams of Troy" at the MCV Foundation, 1228 E. Broad St. "Dreams of Troy" is the second book in Wenzel's "Terror Trifecta" series, which follows the work of three renowned experts who meet at ground zero of the world's most complex terror plots. VCU Libraries hosts National Book Award finalist Nancy MacLean, author of "Democracy in Chains," delivering a lecture on the Virginia-specific roots of the radical political right in Cabell Library, Lecture Hall, Room 303. Behind today's headlines of billionaires taking over government is a secretive political establishment with long, deep and troubling roots. MacLean's talk will be followed by a question-and-answer session, book-signing and reception. MacLean is the William H. Chafe Professor of History and Public Policy at Duke University.

The Center for Interprofessional Education and Inter Health Professionals Alliance holds a CLARION Case Competition interest meeting in Sanger Hall, Room 1-067, for those interested in health care and winning a $7,500 scholarship. Darci Bowles, assistant professor, School of Nursing, will review a past case with root cause analysis interpretation. The CLARION competition gives hands-on experience in a public health case while working with an interdisciplinary team of colleagues. Grading for fall 2017 has begun. Grade sheets are available on faculty eServices. Grades are due by noon on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at which time grading will be turned off. Faculty may only access grade sheets for courses to which they have been assigned in the Class Schedule. If you do not see one of your grade sheets, contact your department's course scheduling representative.

A utilities project on 11th St. between Broad and E. Marshall streets will impact RamRide routes. The Sanger Hall stop will be closed beginning at midnight on Wednesday, Dec. 13, and is scheduled to reopen at 4 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 18. The Campus Connector will bypass the Sanger Hall stop and drop-off/pick-up passengers at the McGuire Hall bus stop. A Lot, M Lot and R Lot passengers will need to use a temporary stop on E. Clay Street, located directly across from the Valentine History Museum (towards 11th Street). Travel routes returning to these lots may be altered, but all other stops will be serviced.

VCU Recreational Sports offers massage therapy. Massage Services provides a variety of massages based off of the therapist's specialties. Registration for January's sessions is currently open.
