VCU Community Health Education Center: Mindfulness Meditation Sessions
12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
The VCU Community Health Education Center hosts 30-minute mindfulness meditation sessions every Wednesday and Friday at noon and 12:30 p.m. at the center, VCU Medical Center, Gateway Building, Ground Floor. The sessions are led by Georgianne Ginder, VCU Department of Arts in Healthcare. The last sessions before the new year will be Wednesday, Dec. 13, and Friday, Dec. 15. Space is limited. Upcoming RamRide Impacts: Dec. 13-18
A utilities project on 11th St. between Broad and E. Marshall streets will impact RamRide routes. The Sanger Hall stop will be closed beginning at midnight on Wednesday, Dec. 13, and is scheduled to reopen at 4 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 18. The Campus Connector will bypass the Sanger Hall stop and drop-off/pick-up passengers at the McGuire Hall bus stop. A Lot, M Lot and R Lot passengers will need to use a temporary stop on E. Clay Street, located directly across from the Valentine History Museum (towards 11th Street). Travel routes returning to these lots may be altered, but all other stops will be serviced.
VCUDine Location Hours: Final Exams and Winter Break
VCUDine locations will operate under adjusted hours during the week of Monday, Dec. 11, through Sunday, Dec. 17. VCUDine will also hold adjusted hours during winter break from Monday, Dec. 18, through Sunday, Jan. 7. The final day to use a fall 2017 dining plan is Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 10:30 a.m. To purchase a new dining plan for spring 2018, visit the website below. VCU Police: Winter Break Safety Reminder
The VCU Police Department encourages all students, faculty and staff members to lock doors and windows in residence hall rooms, houses, apartments and offices before leaving campus. Please lock valuable items in a secure space, or take them with you, prior to leaving for winter break. If you have questions about securing on or off-campus rooms prior to break, email VCU Police at crimeprevreq@vcu.edu or call (804) 828-1196 and ask for the Crime Prevention team.

Black History Month Program Proposals
The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs is accepting program proposals for Black History Month, February 2018. To submit proposals or program ideas/suggestions, email Kishla Conner at connerka2@vcu.edu and/or Reginald Stroble at rlstroble@vcu.edu. Notify Reginald Stroble with any programs already planned for Black History Month by Friday, Dec. 15.
Title IX Support and Report Resource Cards
Equity and Access Services announces that the third annual distribution of updated Title IX Support and Report Resource Cards is underway with the cards in the mail to departments. The cards are designed as a quick reference for VCU employees to understand and assist with fulfilling reporting duties under the Sexual Misconduct/Violence and Sex/Gender Discrimination Policy. Additional quantities, as well as a full-size, large print version, are available at Equity and Access Services.

VCU Recreational Sports Adult Swim Lessons
VCU Recreational Sports Aquatics offers adult swim lessons that allow beginner, intermediate and advanced swimmers to build on their skills. To participate at either the MCV Campus Recreation and Aquatics Center or the Cary Street Gym, register by Friday, Jan. 26.
