New Weight Watchers Freestyle with Meetings on Both Campuses

Weight Watchers holds meetings on both campuses with a new time and location for the MCV Campus, Tuesdays with weigh-ins beginning at 11:15 a.m. and meetings at 11:30 a.m. in the Hunton Student Center. Monroe Park Campus meetings continue on Tuesdays at 12:15 p.m. in Harris Hall. New members who join before Friday, Jan. 19, may receive a jumpstarter kit of tools ($50 value) to help reach their New Year's weight-loss goals.

'Improve your Science with Preregistration'

The Office for Research and Innovation and VCU Data Science Lab invite the VCU community to attend the upcoming workshop, "Improve Your Science with Preregistration" in the Larrick Student Center, Court End Ballroom. David Mellor and Ian Sullivan from the Center for Open Science will introduce researchers to the benefits of preregistration. This one-hour workshop will guide participants through creating a first preregistration, followed by a lunch and question session at noon.

Psychiatry Department Grand Rounds

The Department of Psychiatry presents Grand Rounds with Lyons Hardy and Christopher Kogut, M.D., speaking on the topic of "Enhancing Interprofessional Collaboration on the Psychiatric Treatment Team" in Sanger Hall, Room 1-044. The presentation will also feature a panel discussion with VCU Health professionals of various disciplines. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend this presentation.
Chili’s at VCU Hosts Official Men’s Basketball Away Game Watch Parties
Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 at 7 p.m.
Chili's at VCU hosts the official Men's Basketball watch party as they take on Dayton. Fans can catch the HAVOC live on each of Chilis' nine TVs and take advantage of specials including the $5 game-day burger. Attendees are encouraged to wear VCU gear for free giveaways and prizes. Campus Connector Service Interruptions: Jan. 11-13
Nearby events on Cathedral Place will prevent RamRide from servicing the Cabell Library stop on Thursday, Jan. 11, and Friday, Jan. 12. Passengers should proceed to the Main and Laurel stop for service on these dates. Service will resume on Saturday, Jan. 13. Additionally, inauguration ceremonies at the State Capitol on Saturday, Jan. 13, will close portions of the Campus Connector route. As a result, the Campus Connector will operate from 5 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Jan. 13. Normal service will resume on Sunday, Jan. 14.
