National College Health Assessment

The Wellness Resource Center sent out the National College Health Assessment online survey that began Thursday, Feb. 15, and ends Thursday, March 1. Selected students received an email to their VCU accounts with a personal access code. Everyone who completes the confidential survey has the chance to win one of over 50 prizes, including one of 30 Amazon gift cards worth $100 each or one of 50 VCU T-shirts.

VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program Sea Kayaking Spring Break Trip

The VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program offers a spring break trip to Everglades National Park, the largest sub-tropical wilderness in the United States. This is a great introductory trip for those looking to learn about sea kayaking, and there will be lots of opportunities for wildlife viewing and stargazing. Trip fee will be $495 for students/faculty/staff and $595 for members. Includes transportation to and from south Florida, food, equipment, permits and instruction.

The Graduate Student Association is currently accepting submissions for the 21st Annual Graduate Research Symposium and Exhibit. Each symposium, graduate students present their original research and creative projects to faculty, staff, students and community members. Submissions are due on March 5, 2018.
