Anointed to Dance of VCU, a praise dance and mime group, will have an informational meeting at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary St. Officers of the group will meet at the Pizza Hut in the Commons to walk to the church.

Study Abroad Fall Fair

VCU's Global Education Office will host a Study Abroad Fall Fair on the University Student Commons Plaza. Ten students will receive a $500 study abroad award. Program providers, students who have studied abroad and representatives from VCU offices that assist with the process, including Education Abroad, National Scholarship Office and Career Services, will attend.

OCPE Personal and Professional Development Programs
The VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education offers a variety of on-campus and online learning opportunities for VCU faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members. Continuing education is available in addiction studies, craft beer, cultural competency and languages, disability support services, event planning, paralegal studies, play therapy training and test preparation for the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, SAT and ACT. Noncredit online courses and certificates in customer service, sales, self-publishing, computer skills, workplace topics, Google tools and podcasting are also offered.

Apply to Student Technology Advisory Committee
All enrolled VCU students from all majors and ranks may apply to the Student Technology Advisory Committee for the academic year. The committee advises Technology Services in matters relating to service design and implementation, programming and promotion of technology at VCU and meets select Fridays during the semester; lunch is provided. Applications are due by Sept. 3.
