The Integrity and Compliance Office invites employees and students to an open forum in the University Student Commons, Forum Room to discuss and share feedback on the draft employee Code of Conduct 2.0. RVArts - You Moved Where? - Shawn Brixey + Valerie Cassel Oliver

RVArts welcomes the newest leaders in all things ARTS in Richmond, Shawn Brixey, dean of VCUarts, and Valerie Cassel Oliver, curator of modern and contemporary art, VMFA, at The Depot. Brixey and Cassel will be in conversation about their move to Richmond and Richmond's future as the arts capitol. RVArts is a cross-listed course between the VCUarts Art Foundations program and University College.

CORRECTION: The Wellness Resource Center is partnering with the YWCA of Richmond, VCU Health's Project Empower, VCU Police Department, VCU Equity and Access Services: Title IX, VCU SGA, and Students Advocating Violence Education and Support (SAVES) to put on VCU's Seventh Annual Fear 2 Freedom event in the Larrick Student Center, Court End Ballrooms. Participants will assemble care kits for survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence. Free dinner provided.

Early Bird Honor Council Training
Thursday, Apr. 26, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Student Conduct & Academic Integrity seeks faculty and professional, graduate and undergraduate students to volunteer for the Honor Council, and offers a training in the University Student Commons, Forum Room. Trained members of the Honor Council participate on Decision Boards, Sanction Review Boards or Appeal Boards to determine if an infraction of the VCU Honor System has occurred and to recommend sanctions that may be imposed when a violation has been committed. Those trained now will be eligible to begin serving immediately through the 2018-19 academic year. Attendees will have the chance to enter a raffle for the chance to win a chair massage.

East End Cemetery Community Gathering

The VCU Division of Community Engagement co-sponsors a community gathering showcasing student research on Richmond's historic East End Cemetery at the Robinson Theater, 2903 Q St. Cemetery volunteers will give an update on the cemetery's recovery, while VCU and University of Richmond undergraduates will present their projects from a variety of disciplines and courses. Free pizza will be served.
Pi Sigma Alpha Spaghetti Charity Dinner for Cystic Fibrosis

Pi Sigma Alpha, VCU's Political Science Honor Society, is sponsoring the 12th Annual Lucy Saladino Spaghetti Dinner at the Wembly Swim & Racquet Club 1311 Gaskins Rd. Richmond, VA 23238. All proceeds go to the Lucy Saladino Memorial Scholarship Fund at Mills Godwin High School and to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Pasta with homemade meatballs or marinara, salad, bread, drinks and dessert will be served. The suggested donation is $13 per person. Caps, Gowns and Hoods for May Commencement
May Commencement exercises take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, at the Richmond Coliseum, 601 E. Leigh St. Students participating in the ceremony must wear caps, gowns and hoods. Academic regalia is available for purchase at the Barnes & Noble @ VCU on the Monroe Park and MCV campuses. If you are unable to visit your campus bookstore, you can purchase your regalia online through Tuesday, April 30, at http://www.balfour.com/vcu/. Caps and gowns will not be available for purchase at the Commencement ceremony.

VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program Bicycle Tour Week
The VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program will host a bicycle tour along the C&O Canal and Great Allegheny Passage May 12-20. This van-supported bicycle tour will start in Washington DC and end in Pittsburgh. The cost will be $395 for students and $445 for faculty/staff, and this price includes food, transportation, and equipment. Registration ends May 8 and is available online on the MyRecSports portal or in person at the Outing Rental Center.

Participants Are Invited for Study Examining Estrogen and Blood Vessel Function
We are seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years, females and males, to participate in a study examining the effect of estrogen on blood vessel function at rest and during exercise. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Principal Investigator: Ryan Garten, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.
Upcoming Closures to Cabell Library RamRide stop
On April 24, the Campus Connector will be unable to service Cabell Library stop from 7:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. Additionally this route will be altered. Passengers should use the "Special Event" route on Transloc to track the status of the Connector in real time. On May 1, the Cabell Library stop will close at 12 p.m. On May 16 and May 23, the stop will close from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Passengers should board at Main & Laurel during these closures.
