Faculty, staff, guests (non-VCU) and students who are not graduating can purchase a ticket for $10, which includes food and one drink coupon.

VCU Recreational Sports Aquatics Lifeguard Re-certification

VCU Recreational Sports Aquatics offers an American Red Cross Lifeguard Re-certification class, March 23-35 at Cary Street Gym. This is only open to those with a current American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR/AED certifications. Registration ends on March 22.

VCU Recreational Sports Functional Fitness Training

The Functional Fitness Training course is offered by VCU Recreational Sports Fitness at the Cary Street Gym. Certified Personal Trainers utilize the Synrgy360 to design unique and challenging circuits to teach you how to control your workout intensity to gain cardiovascular fitness and improve your body composition. Boost your fitness, lose body fat and gain strength and stamina. Registration ends on March 23.

Feminine Hygiene Drive for Homeless Women

VCU student organizations Sisters and Stethoscopes and Queen In You collaborate for a feminine hygiene drive from March 12-23 in the first floor lobbies of the following residence halls : Ackell, Brandt, The Honors College, Grace and Broad, Johnson, Rhoads, West Grace Student Housing-North, West Grace Street Student Housing-South and Cary and Belvidere. Acceptable donations are any new and unopened pads, tampons, underwear and sanitary wipes.

Call for Applications: Harris Manchester College Summer Research Institute at Oxford University

The Global Education Office accepts applications for the 2018 Harris Manchester College Summer Research Institute to take place at Oxford University from July 1-8. The institute is an opportunity for faculty to enhance a research project through a week of focused study. Participants' time is their own for study and writing, as well as taking advantage of cultural activities offered at Oxford University. Applications are due by Monday, April 2, at 4:30 p.m.
