Amendment Literary and Art Journal is hosting the third annual Film Festival at The Depot, 814 W. Broad St. Join us for an evening of outstanding, socially conscious, student-made film, video and multimedia art, including animations, documentaries, found video edits, narrative film, dance film and more! The event is free and open to the public, and free food and beverage will be offered.

The Department of Medicinal Chemistry presents "Design and Development of Novel NLPR3 Inflammasome Inhibitors," as part of its 2018 spring seminar series, in BioTech One, Founders Conference Room. Jacob Fulp, graduate student, will be presenting his research seminar.
Students Today Alumni Tomorrow Party

Students Today Alumni Tomorrow holds a party in the University Student Commons, Commonwealth Rooms A-B, for students to get to know STAT, VCU Alumni's student organization. Food will be provided. New and existing student members are invited to come renew their support.

'Ad Lucem'
Friday, May 4, 2018 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Catholic Campus Ministry at VCU will hold "Ad Lucem" at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 823 Cathedral Place. This event will feature music sung by various groups on campus while prayer and candle lighting take place all night. Light a candle for yourself, the end of the semester or a loved one. There will also a bonfire with free s'mores.
VCU Greater Richmond High School Jazz Band in Concert
Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1 p.m.
The VCU Greater Richmond High School Jazz Band performs in the Sonia Vlahcevic Concert Hall at the W.E. Singleton Center, 922 Park Avenue, under the direction of professors Antonio Garcia and Steven Cunningham. The concert includes music by Duke Ellington, Benny Golson, Quincy Jones, Victor Lopez, Sammy Nestico, Sonny Rollins, Mongo Santamaria, Billy Strayhorn and more. Free admission.
RVA Street Singers Debut Concert
Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 3 p.m.
VCU Music and the VCU School of Social Work present The RVA Street Singers' debut concert, directed by Rebecca Tyree, on in the James W. Black Music Center's Recital Hall. The RVA Street Singers will sing a variety of styles from sacred and gospel to R&B and pop music. This concert will also feature the VCU Women's Choir. Admission is free.

Fourth Annual Student Excellence in Interprofessionalism Recognition Award
Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 4 p.m.
The Center for Interprofessional Education hosts the Excellence in Interprofessional Education Awards Ceremony in the School of Pharmacy Smith Building First Floor Classroom. This award serves to recognize full-time VCU students graduating in 2018 who have demonstrated significant involvement and interest in promoting interprofessional activities. Nominations are accepted through Friday, April 13.
