Results will inform the VCU’s plans related to campus diversity initiatives. Students who participate could win one of two grand prizes for a free semester of on-campus parking or one of 100, $10 Starbucks gift cards. The Asian American and Pacific Islander Alliance is collecting responses for a zine titled "Dear Donald Trump" at the Compass. Write anonymous statements or letters addressed to Donald Trump, the Trump administration or regarding social issues surrounding this presidency.
iCubed My Life, My Scholarship: Paul Rucker & Onaje Woodbine, Ph.D.

The VCU Institute for Inclusion, Inquiry and Innovation (iCubed) holds a "My Life, My Scholarship" symposium at the Monroe Park Campus Barnes & Noble @ VCU Cafe. The next event features Onaje X. O. Woodbine, Ph.D. and Paul Rucker, who are are involved in VCU iCubed’s Racial Equity, Arts and Culture core. Rucker will share his commitment to making artwork that impacts viewers’ understanding of issues related to incarceration, racially-motivated violence, and the current and historical impacts of slavery in the U.S. Woodbine will share about his search for meaning and transcendence in street basketball and his vision of transforming athletic spaces to sacred spaces. VCU English Faculty Forum: Dr. Adam Abraham: 'George Eliot versus Joseph Liggins: Authorship and Identity Theft'

VCU English sponsors a talk by Postdoctoral Fellow Adam Abraham in Hibbs Hall, Room 308. Until the end of her life, George Eliot was haunted by Joseph Liggins. Liggins claimed he was “George Eliot”—the pseudonym used by Marian Evans. He thus became a force in literary history even though he never wrote a word. Abraham argues that Liggins's imposture is seared into Eliot's fiction and offers a clue to understanding her final published work.

Financial Education Workshop: Investments Workshop

The Muslim Students Association holds a tabling event at the University Student Commons as part of Islamic Awareness Week. Members will be distributing free water bottles to the VCU community with quotes from important Muslim figures who were known for their positive community impact.

VCU Police / American Red Cross Blood Drive
Thursday, Mar. 29, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
To support patients in the greater Richmond area, The VCU Police Department invites the VCU community and the public to a blood drive with the American Red Cross at police headquarters, 224 E. Broad St. The goal is to collect 22 pints of blood and schedule 30 appointments. Appointments are preferred; walk-ins welcome. The American Red Cross is the primary supplier of blood to all VCU Health, Bon Secours, Sentara and Henrico Doctors' hospitals across Virginia. About one third of Red Cross blood used by local hospitals goes to VCU Medical Center.

Art Therapy & Mental Health Awareness Art Show & Reception

Photography Club at VCU holds a Photoshop editing workshop at West Grace Student Housing - North, Room 1030. For beginner to advanced levels, learn techniques to make your pictures prize-worthy, and get individual time with our officers. The first 15 people to attend will receive Adobe water bottles, pop-sockets, and other giveaways. A laptop is required.

An Interactive Night with the Dating Doctor

VCU's Activities Programming Board hosts an interactive night with Relationship Consultant David Coleman in the University Student Commons, Commonwealth Ballrooms. Known on college campuses worldwide as “The Dating Doctor™,” Coleman has been honored 14 times as a Speaker of the Year and was recently honored as the 2011 Entertainer of the Year and 2011 Male Performer of the Year by Campus Activities Magazine.

VCUDine is offering dining plan holders the opportunity to pre-order pizza and wings for the April 2 NCAA Championship basketball game. Orders will be taken Friday, March 30 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on the first floor of Shafer Court Dining Center.
