Participants, to include representatives of other Virginia colleges and universities, will have the opportunity to interact with prominent keynote speakers and attend facilitated discussions where they will be encouraged to create strategies to enhance the college experience of underrepresented minority and low-income students.

The Sikh Student Association invites the VCU community to their biannual Langar event at the University Student Commons Plaza to experience the Sikh practice of Langar, or community kitchen. Students will have the opportunity to enjoy free traditional Panjabi food and try on a Turban while learning more about the Sikh faith and interacting with members of the Sikh community.

In one of a trio of events marking the addition of the 3 millionth item to VCU Libraries' collection, the focus is on Dr. David X. Cifu, M.D. Ph.D., and "Rehabilitation After Traumatic Brain Injury." This seminal work is based on years of research and leading-edge practice in the treatment of traumatic brain injury, including current translational research conducted at VCU. This book is a key addition to Tompkins-McCaw's Traumatic Brain Injury collection. Cifu will give brief remarks.

VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program will hold the Learn How to Fix a Flat Clinic April 2 at 6 p.m. in the Outing Rental Center, Linden Street. Learn how to fix and prevent flat tires. Bring your own bike or use one of ours. Note: If you require a flat fixed on your bike, we do not sell bicycle inner tubes so please bring your own.
