Possible Campus Connector Impacts on April 20

Due to the large crowds expected on Capitol Square on April 20, there may be service interruptions to the Campus Connector at the 7th Street, Franklin Street and One Capitol Square stops. If crowds do impede service, these stops may be closed, and the Campus Connector may travel an alternative route north along 7th Street to bypass traffic. Passengers are encouraged to monitor real time status information for the Connector, including impacts to service, at vcu.transloc.com or through the VCU Mobile app.

Food for Fines: Donate to RamPantry and VCU Libraries waives late fees and fines April 22-May 12

VCU Libraries will host a food drive at the information desks of the Cabell and Tompkins-McCaw libraries April 22 - May 12 to stock RamPantry @ VCU. In this case, generosity has an added benefit for people who owe fines or certain fees for library materials. For each food item a person donates, VCU Libraries will waive $5 in fines up to a $30 maximum. To qualify, materials must be returned. Fees for damaged and lost items will not be waived.

Employee Giving Changes Lives

The annual Black & Gold & You campaign, which runs through May 16, is an opportunity for faculty and staff members to give back to VCU. Participation is the goal. No amount is too small. Give to a favorite scholarship, fund, unit or school and show our alumni, friends and donors that employees believe VCU and VCU Health are worthwhile investments. Although the six-week campaign ends in May, gifts made through the end of the fiscal year will count in this campaign.
