Never Forget Memorial Run

Stephen Adt and VCU Police partner with VFW Post 6364 to present the sixth annual Never Forget Memorial Run beginning at the Siegel Center. This is a free, 1.4-mile silent run through Richmond with a closing ceremony at the Virginia War Memorial, 621 S. VCU Recreational Sports Summer Belaying and Climbing Clinics

The VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program will be holding weekly belay clinics as well as tri-weekly climbing clinics. All clinics are designed to caters to climbers of all ability levels. Registration is online through the MyRecSports portal.

Participants Are Invited for Study Examining Estrogen and Blood Vessel Function

We are seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years, females and males, to participate in a study examining the effect of estrogen on blood vessel function at rest and during exercise. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Principal Investigator: Ryan Garten, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.

On Monday, May 28 (Memorial Day), RamRide will not be in operation. Please note, this includes the A Lot, I Lot, R Lot, M Lot shuttles and Campus Connector. All One Cap Square Deck, W Deck, K Deck, Coliseum Deck, RTD Deck, A Lot, I Lot, M Lot and R Lot employee subscribers should park in the D Deck or Eighth Street Deck during this time.

Alternative Summer Break: Costa Rica

Alternative Spring Break at VCU and the Center for Student Leadership & Civic Engagement offer an Alternative Summer Break trip to Costa Rica. Students will head to the Osa Peninsula to engage in community service and experiential learning with an ecological focus. Reserve a spot on the team by June 1 by registering in the Student Leadership & Civic Engagement Office, University Student Commons, Room 229. Cost is $500 plus airfare.
