The VCU departments of Painting + Printmaking and Sculpture + Extended Media present a lecture by Stanya Kahn at the Institute for Contemporary Art Auditorium, 601 W. Broad St. Kahn is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in video with a practice that includes drawing, sound, writing, performance and sculpture/installation.

Criminal Justice Reform Panel

Pups on the Plaza

McGuire Hall RamRide Stop to Close Oct. 5
Due to an upcoming street closure along 11th Street, between Clay and Leigh Streets, the McGuire Hall stop will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. Oct. 5 and will reopen at 6 a.m. Oct. 8. During these times, I Lot passengers should use the Sanger Hall Stop. Additionally, the I Lot shuttle will be rerouted to bypass the closure.

Cabell Library RamRide Stop Closed Oct. 7
On Oct. 7 the Cabell Library stop on the Campus Connector route will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. due to a nearby event. Passengers should utilize the Main and Laurel Street stop during this time. Additionally, the Campus Connector will be rerouted; however, all remaining stops will continue to be serviced.

Looking for Low Anxiety, Sedentary Participants for Heart Rate Variability Study
VCU's Department of Health Behavior Policy is studying the relationship between anxiety, health and mood. Participants in this research study must be between the ages of 18-35 years and able to safely participate in physical activity but not currently participating in an exercise program. Participants will be compensated.

Limited Submission Opportunity for NIH/NCI Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Fellow Transition Award
Massey Cancer Center is accepting internal applications for the NIH/NCI Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Fellow Transition Award (F99/K00). The goal of the F99/K00 award is to encourage graduate students who are recognized as having high potential and strong interest in pursuing careers as independent cancer researchers, and facilitate their successful transition to postdoctoral positions. One application from VCU is allowed, with the applicant being selected through an internal competition.
