'Theatricality and the Genealogy of Queer Performance'

VCU Department of Art History presents the 2018 Maurice Bonds Lecture at the Grace Street Theater, 934 W. Grace St. Amelia Jones, Robert A. Day Professor and Vice Dean of Research, Roski School of Art and Design, University of Southern California, will present "In Between Subjects: Theatricality and the Genealogy of Queer Performance," a talk exploring the alignment of theatricality and gay men, effeminacy, and/or femininity in art discourse.
