The Commonwealth Society, VCUarts' educational organization for adult learners, has opened registration for its fall semester. The Commonwealth Society connects community learners to the resources of VCU and the Richmond arts scene through classes and programming.

VCU's Global Education Office invites the members of the university community to the monthly Global Café in Room 1030J, West Grace Street Student Housing – North, 830 W. Grace St. This student-centered program is designed to increase awareness and appreciation of cultural diversity at VCU. Each café has a different theme and refreshments are always served.

RamRide Not In Service on Labor Day
On Sept. 3 (Labor Day), RamRide will not be in operation. This includes shuttle service to the remote facilities as well as the Campus Connector. Due to this closure, all W Deck, K Deck, Coliseum Deck, A Lot, I Lot, M Lot and R Lot employee subscribers may park in the N Deck or Eighth Street Deck. RamRide will resume its normal schedule on Sept. 4. As a reminder, all VCU students and employees have access to GRTC bus routes at no cost.

VCU Rec Sports Family Swim Hours
VCU Recreational Sports will hold family swim and family hours during the fall semester from 5-7:30 p.m. weekdays at Cary Street Gym Aquatic Center. Family hours will be on Saturdays and Sundays at all facilities. Family swim hours are available only for members or guests.
