VCU's da Vinci Center will host an informational meeting about the university's Pre-Accelerator (Pre-X) Program. The program identifies, supports and launches student high-growth and high-potential startups and founders. The meeting will be held in Room 103, Robert Blackwell Smith Building, 410 N. 12th St. The deadline to apply to the program is March 1.

ICA's Provocations Performance: Broad Street Ramblers
4 p.m.
The Broad Street Ramblers, a traditional folk and blues trio, will perform at the ICA. The event at the Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 601 W. Broad St., is part of Rashid Johnson's "Monument" exhibition. A performance will also be staged at 3 p.m. Feb. 23.

Hoops2Heal Basketball Tournament

REAL Experiential Learning Town Hall

A Game of Hearts: Bachelor Auction

VCU's Office of Multicultural Student Affairs will host the first cultural achievement ceremony interest meeting for May graduates. The meeting, to be held in Room 215, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave., is about the Latinx Achievement Ceremony and the Donning of the Kente Ceremony. Attending one of the interest meetings is mandatory for participation in the cultural achievement ceremonies. Interest meetings will also be held in the same location at 3 p.m. March 12, 11 a.m. March 20 and 9 a.m. March 29.

Federico Cuatlacuatl Lecture
Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019 at 3 p.m.
Mexican indigenous artist Federico Cuatlacuatl will speak in Room 535, Bowe Street Parking Deck, 609 Bowe St. He was born in Cholula, Puebla, Mexico and emigrated to Indiana, where he received his MFA specializing in digital arts at Bowling Green State University. His work is invested in disseminating topics of Latinx immigration, social art practice and cultural sustainability. The lecture is presented by VCUarts Department of Kinetic Imaging.

Dispelling Myths: A Series

The discussion series will focus on dispelling misconceptions or lesser-know facts about cultural identity groups or general social justice issues. The series is hosted by VCU's Office of Multicultural Student Affairs in Room 215, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. The discussions can correspond to cultural heritage months or focus on topics related to cultural identity groups or social justice topics. Sessions will also be held at the same time and location on March 29, and from 1-2 p.m. at the same location on April 12 and April 26.

Mindfulness Essentials

MCV Campus Street Closures
Beginning Feb. 24 through Feb. 27, street closures will be in effect on VCU’s MCV Campus for portions of North 10th street at the intersection of East Leigh Street. The closures are necessary as a contractor for VCU Facilities Management completes the installation of a manhole at the intersection. VCU/GRTC GO Pass Requirement Begins Feb. 24
Effective Feb. 24, all VCU and VCU Health students and employees will be required to utilize their issued VCU/GRTC GO Pass in addition to their VCU, VCU Health or Virginia Premier ID card to ride GRTC under the pilot program.
