VCU's Kinesiology and Health Science Department is seeking male participants to take part in a research project to assess the impact of a high active or low active lifestyle and cellular aging on cognitive performance. Participants must be healthy male adults between 40 and 64 years old with a body mass index less than 30.0 (assessed by the research staff). Two morning exercise tests and two brief cognitive tests will be required. Individuals with a history of cancer in the last 10 years, pre-existing inflammatory or metabolic diseases or are on medications that may alter inflammation or metabolism may not be eligible.
