Some of the upcoming VCU homecoming celebrations include a photo booth and King of Pops popsicles in the Richmond Salons, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. Also, a pep rally with food, a DJ and a chicken nugget-eating contest at 7-9 p.m. Nov. 5 in the Richmond Salons. Also, a candy shop happy hour at noon-1 p.m. Nov. 6 in the Richmond Salons. Also, Caribbean snacks at noon-1 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Richmond Salons. Also, dinner and karaoke at 7-9 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Richmond Salons. Also, freshman through junior members of the homecoming court will be crowned, noon-1 p.m. Nov. 9 in the Richmond Salons, and brunch and mocktails will be available. Also, a homecoming tailgate will be 4-7 p.m. Nov. 9 at Harrison and Marshall streets. (Students will receive one voucher for one of the food trucks.)

'How to Conduct Survival Analysis Using National Complex Survey and Vital Statistics Data'

'More Than War' Storytelling Night
Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 at 6 p.m.
Celebrate and support student veterans at "More Than War," a night of storytelling. The event will be hosted by VCU's Department of Focused Inquiry in the University College, along with Military Student Services, at the Tin Pan, 8992 Quioccasin Road. Storytellers will tell stories of combat, coming home and navigating life as a veteran. Donations accepted at the door will be used to support VCU's Student Veteran Association.

Election Day Shuttle
To help students get to the polls on Election Day, VCU’s SGA, in partnership with VCU Parking and Transportation, will sponsor transportation for students to downtown Richmond polling locations on Nov. 6. Election Day shuttles will begin at James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave., and run on a continuous loop to four polling locations around the city, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Students interested in taking the shuttle should meet at Cabell Library with a VCU ID card to present to the driver upon boarding.

Are You 18-25 Years Old and Do You Smoke Cigarettes?
Men and women between the ages of 18-25 who smoke cigarettes are invited to participate in a research study that requires five, three-hour laboratory visits. Compensation (up to $360) is provided. This study will be conducted at Thurston House, 808 W. Franklin St. Principal Investigator is Andrew Barnes, Ph.D., Department of Health Behavior and Policy.
