Dr. Victor Yazbek presents "RiVE-CLL: A Path Toward CURES in Lymphoid Malignancies" in the Founders Conference Room, Virginia BioTechnology Research Park – BioTech One, 800 E. Leigh St. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia, the most common form of adult leukemia, remains largely incurable with current therapies. A clinical trial for a promising treatment will be discussed at the presentation, hosted by VCU's Office of Research and Innovation.

McGuire Hall RamRide Stop to Close Oct. 5
Due to an upcoming street closure along 11th Street, between Clay and Leigh Streets, the McGuire Hall stop will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. Oct. 5 and will reopen at 6 a.m. Oct. 8. During these times, I Lot passengers should use the Sanger Hall Stop. Additionally, the I Lot shuttle will be rerouted to bypass the closure.

Cabell Library RamRide Stop Closed Oct. 7
On Oct. 7 the Cabell Library stop on the Campus Connector route will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. due to a nearby event. Passengers should utilize the Main and Laurel Street stop during this time. Additionally, the Campus Connector will be rerouted; however, all remaining stops will continue to be serviced.

The Clothesline Project
In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Students Advocating Violence Education and Support, The Wellness Resource Center and VCU Libraries present The Clothesline Project, a display of T-shirts decorated by survivors of violence and their loved ones, through Oct. 5 at James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave., and Oct. 8-12 at Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences, 509 N. 12th St.

Closure of Intersection of 10th and Turpin Streets Rescheduled to Begin Oct. 20
Whiting-Turner’s plans to close the intersection of 10th and Turpin streets due to construction related to the new College of Health Professions has been postponed. The start of the project is now slated to begin Saturday, Oct. 20.
