'Dark Girls' Screening and Panel Discussion

A screening of the documentary "Dark Girls" will be shown at the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, 922 Park Ave., presented by VCU's Department of African American Studies; Department of Psychology; Department of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies; Office of Multicultural Student Affairs and Girls for a Change. The film explores the topic of colorism and its effect on African American women. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring filmmaker D. Massey Cancer Center is accepting internal applications for the NIH/NCI Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Fellow Transition Award (F99/K00). The goal of the F99/K00 award is to encourage graduate students who are recognized as having high potential and strong interest in pursuing careers as independent cancer researchers, and facilitate their successful transition to postdoctoral positions.
