RamTech Appy Hour: 'Intro to Coding Using Swift Playgrounds'

RamTech is hosting a free Appy Hour: “Intro to Coding Using Swift Playgrounds.” The event will be held in the SGA Senate Chambers, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. The seminar invites participants to explore the iPad app “Swift Playgrounds,” which teaches the coding language “Swift” in a fun, interactive way. 'Roma' Screening and Discussion

Participants Are Invited For Study Examining PTSD and Exercise
This study is seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 who have post-traumatic stress disorder or symptoms of PTSD. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of PTSD symptoms on blood vessel function at rest and during exercise. Participants will be compensated. This study will be conducted at the 500 Academic Centre, 1020 W. Grace St. The principal investigator is Ryan Garten, Ph.D., Dept of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.

Virtual Immersive Gaming to Optimize Recovery in Low Back Pain
Are you currently experiencing low back pain, between the ages of 18-60 years old and interested in the possibility of nine weeks of nonsurgical experimental treatment? If you answered yes to all three you may qualify for our research. What? New, innovative and fun virtual reality games are designed to help people with chronic back pain move and feel better. Where? All appointments, testing and treatments are conducted at VCU. When? Participation in the study involves 24 one-hour appointments scheduled over a 57-week period. Who?
