Male Participants Sought for Research Project

VCU's Kinesiology and Health Science Department is seeking males interested in participating in a research project that will assess the impact of a high active or low active lifestyle and cellular aging on cognitive performance. Participants will be entered for a chance to win an Amazon gift card. Potential participants must be healthy and between 40 and 64 years old with a body mass index less than 30.0 assessed by the research staff. Participants will be asked to attend two morning visits for an exercise test and two brief cognitive tests.

Participants Sought for Study Evaluating Neural Pathway Excitability

Males and females ages 18-65 are sought for a research investigation. The VCU Department of Biomedical Engineering is seeking participants for a research investigation into the effects of noninvasive brain stimulation on the excitability of neural pathways. This study involves transcranial magnetic stimulation, which is a noninvasive and widely used brain stimulation technique. Volunteers will be compensated. Recruitment is ongoing.
