Erika Milam, Ph.D., professor of history at Princeton University, will discuss “Darwin and the Politics of Nature.” She will speak in the Commonwealth Ballroom, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. The event is hosted by Science, Technology and Society at VCU and the Graduate Organization of Biology Students. 'In the Red and Brown Water'

Theatre VCU presents "In the Red and Brown Water" in the Raymond Hodges Theater, W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, 922 Park Ave. The show runs Feb. 15-16, 22-23 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 17 and 24 at 3 p.m. The play was written by award-winning playwright Tarell Alvin McCraney and directed by April Jones. McCraney is a playwright and actor most known for his film "Moonlight," which took home an Academy Award in 2017. He has been labeled as a definitive voice in African American theater.
