Birthday Cards for Carver Elementary School Students
Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The ICA and VCU’s Division of Community Engagement are partnering to create birthday cards for the students of Richmond's Carver Elementary School. This service opportunity is open to the public. Drop in between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 601 W. Broad St. All supplies will be provided, plus snacks, music and ICA swag.

Grant Writing Workshop: 'Developing a Research Idea'
Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019 from noon to 1 p.m.
VCU's C. Kenneth and Dianne Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research will present a series of seminars on grant writing. Each session, for early-career faculty researchers, covers a topic related to writing a competitive research grant application and is taught by senior faculty researchers. The Jan. 10 workshop, in Room 3-101, James W. and Frances G. McGlothlin Medical Education Center, 1201 E. Provocations Performance: Michelle Dodd

Establishing Sound Financial Health

Cheer with fellow Rams at the official Men’s Basketball Watch Parties during January at Chili’s at VCU.
