Campus Connector To Discontinue Service July 1; GRTC Partnership Extended

VCU has signed a three-year paid agreement with GRTC to fund unlimited transportation access on Pulse Bus Rapid Transit, local and express routes for all VCU, VCU Health System and Virginia Premier students and employees effective Aug. 1. In an effort to eliminate redundant services and contribute to the cost of the new partnership, VCU will eliminate the Campus Connector route, effective July 1. To travel between campuses, passengers can use Pulse, Route 5.

VRS Hybrid Plan Contribution Deadline Is June 17

June 17 is the election deadline for voluntary contributions to become effective in July for Virginia Retirement System Hybrid Plan participants. Voluntary contributions can be changed once per calendar quarter. Participants can voluntarily contribute up to 4 percent of their creditable salary and receive up to a 2.5 percent employer match.
