Faculty and Staff Open Enrollment for Health Coverage and Flexible Spending Ends May 15

Open enrollment for health coverage and flexible spending plans ends at 5 p.m. May 15. Eligible employees may enroll or make changes to flexible spending accounts and health coverage elections for the plan year beginning July 1. No action is required to maintain current health coverage, but enrollment is required to begin or continue participation in flexible spending. COVA Care and COVA HealthAware participants may qualify for premium rewards by completing or updating a health assessment.

Food for Fines Drive Ends May 12

VCU Libraries' Food for Fines food drive ends May 12. Those who owe fines or fees for library materials may donate a food item at the libraries' information desks. For each food item donated, VCU Libraries will waive $5 in fines up to a $30 maximum. To qualify, materials must be returned and fees for damaged and lost items will not be waived.

Facilitators Needed for Common Book Small Groups

VCU's Common Book program seeks faculty, staff and administrators interested in leading small-group discussions of this year's book, “Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City,” by Matthew Desmond.
