Experiencing computer issues? There’s no need to go off-campus for repairs. FixIT, VCU’s on-campus computer repair resource, is at 930 W. Grace St. inside RamTech. Virtual Immersive Gaming to Optimize Recovery in Low Back Pain

VCU Rec Sports Lifeguard Certification

VCU Recreational Sports Lifeguard Certification classes will be offered in February, April and May. Instruction will provide individuals with the skills necessary to prevent and deal with aquatic emergencies. This certificate is valid for two years. Individuals with an expiring certification may take the American Red Cross Lifeguard Recertification course, to be held in March, to renew certification for another two years.

Physical Activity and Nutrition Study for Black Breast Cancer Survivors

Black women who are breast cancer survivors and overweight or obese are invited to participate in a research study. The project requires participation in 16, one-hour workout sessions and laboratory visits. Compensation is provided. The study will be conducted at VCU's Run Lab, 500 Academic Centre, 1020 W. Grace St. The principal investigator is Vanessa B. Sheppard, Ph.D., Department of Health Behavior and Policy.
