Riding GRTC Pulse With Your New GO Pass

All VCU and VCU Health students and employees are now required to utilize their issued VCU/GRTC GO Pass in addition to their VCU, VCU Health or Virginia Premier ID card to ride GRTC under the pilot program. Follow these steps: 1. Tap your VCU/GRTC GO Pass on the ticket vending machine at the Pulse stop. 2. Take your printed receipt from the tray. 3. Call for Nominations: Student Leadership Awards

Nominations for the 2019 Student Leadership Awards are now open. The awards honor exemplary leadership, service and contributions by students and student organizations to VCU. It is presented by University Student Commons and Activities. Students, staff and faculty may nominate individuals and organizations.

Weight Watchers February Promotion

VCU employees are invited to join Weight Watchers. Meetings are held under the direction of a Weight Watchers' wellness coach on Tuesdays on both the Monroe Park and MCV campuses. Through March 1, purchase a membership (new members only) and receive a free "Join the Journey" kit ($40 value). VCU employees receive special pricing and reimbursement for half the cost once program requirements are met.

Hispanic/LatinX Research Study

Hispanic/LatinX individuals born outside of the mainland United States aged 18 years of age or higher are invited to participate in a research study. The program is investigating social and psychological factors that affect ethnic minorities’ health outcomes. Those who qualify will participate in a 20-minute study, in which you complete several questionnaires, physical assessments (e.g., height and weight measurements) and tasks. Compensation is available.
